Been A Few Months

So Alot has happened in the past couple months, walts band is finally playing out. They have a pretty steady gig going at boomers, every sunday, and i think in thursdays walt is gong to do a solo acoustic thing. Then Tomorrow they are playing at 17 lounge in Punta Gorda, and they recently played a Chubbys. Then next month the will be playing boomers, Gators and sports city. Im really proud of him. He's been working on this for many years and he finally has gigs.. good for him.. he is so proud of himself. and i am too..
Andrew is great also, he is growing up so quickly.. running around, talking up a storm.. he's great.. i love him more and more!!!

i really enjoy

Reading. My favorite author by far is Jane Austin. And my favorite book by her is pride and prejudice. And I realize that is her most ubiquitious book but I've read it like 6 times and I still love it. However I haven't read all her books. I've read Emma, and persuasion also. And pride and prejudice remains the top contender. As far as continuations, I've read Mr Darcys diary which is good and the two books by Linda berdoll. They are really good too.

stomach flu

So Andrew had the stomach flu and he handled it very well. He was good and minimally cranky. Unfortunately I got it from him. So consequently I feel like crap! Ugh.

yesterday

Andrew went on his first boat ride since the womb. He was so funny. He is such a fearless child. Nothing scares him. He waddled around in his little life vest and walked around the boat peering into the water. He is so cute. When he is being good :)

decided!

Walt and I decided to just say screw it lol! We are great and our little family is great. But bills and credit cards can kick our ass! Yep.

poor baby!

So the past couple days Andrew has been running a fever and it spiked really high last night. I've been giving him tylonal the past couple days but it got really high. He has like 4 teeth coming in so that might be it. But time for a trip to the doctors.

my how they grow!

Andrew is growing up so quickly! My goodness! He is so smart. He communicates with me and verbally expresses his wants. He has a pretty good vocabulary for his age. He regularly says hi bye, mom, dada, Andrea, what are you doing, no, what, uhuh, love you, and ozzy. Sometimes moto. Lol and he repeats words and phrases. He is almost regularly saying rock and roll, walts doing. He will say it when he hears the word rock. Lol last week some of the girls at the studio taught him how to say gravity. Lol I'm not sure why but he said it all day. Anyways he love climbing up and down everything, singing, cleaning, he likes finding the smallest pieces of whatever and throw it away. Lol he is very smart and loves to pull his books out and pretend to read. Lol its nice to focus on him and his milestones and not think about other crappy stuff. Like money. Lol the rich getting richer the poor getting poorer. Sucks. But Andrew is great Walter is great.. Yep yep.

Everyone needs to see this movie its amazing!! Marcus bellamy from my dance studio is in it. He was trained by Michelle and then went to juliard! And he is a dancer in the movie! And the movie itself is awesome I love it! All Beatles songs redone very well! Awesome awesome movie!

my how he is growing!

Andrew has been so fussy lately! And I didn't understand why.. But today he was talking and I caught a glimps of his teeth and Andrew has 2 molars! And he is cutting like 3 more teeth! My goodness! Lol considering that he has every right to be fussy. I read that babies cutting teeth is so excruciating that we as adults wouldn't be able to handle that pain.

Its Thursday. That means one and a half more days to go!! And today I got to teach a.new class. We added a homeschool ballet/tap class and I get to teach it! Which is cool because its extra money. Tomorrow I'm taking a girl from the studio around to help me collect adds. :) yep yep.

Monday..

Its Monday. Yep yep I'm glad I work this week it will make it fly by.. And then there is like 2 more weeks and my sister Shannon is flying down for a week! I'm excited about that. I miss her and my mom so much. Unfortunately my mom couldn't come but at least Shannon can. Yesterday I hung out with my friend Katelynn and she and I brought Mack my high school days lol it was fun. Nice to be out of the house. If I'm at the house for to much time especially this week I go bonkers! Lol.

the next 6 days

For the next 6 days after today of course Matt and Jeff will be here. Walt is getting them today and bringing them back next Saturday.

funny games!

Ok so anyways we're at home and Walt is holing Andrew and he's wearing his plaid hat and Andrew pulls it off and puts it on. Then pulls it over his eyes and walks to me feeling his way on the table and chairs so I take the hat and put it on, he pulls it off puts it back on walks over to Walt now this went back and forth like 4 or 5 time just laughing and going back and forth! And it was so funny because he pulled the brim over his eyes so he couldn't see. And he found this funny!!

yesterday

So at the studio yesterday Andrew was crawling around and the stopped pointed to the ceiling and said God! And I was like yes God is up there. Now I grew up catholic and now am more Christian but I will admit I'm not the best influence as far as religious teachings. But out of nowhere he says god! And he enunciated it very clearly.
He is growing up so fast. He wears between 2T and 3T now and just seems like such a big boy...

i sucked!

So I was at the studio and I always keep a diaper bag in my car and I'm usually good at replenising diapers but I forgot to and I had to change drew today but I did have a receiving blanket so I made a makeshift diaper. Lol yeah I suck I forgot. Oh well. He is so good at the studio he tried to dance with the girls they were sitting and stretching and he was trying to copy! So cute. And then when they did grand jetes (big jump in french) he ran and looked back at me like did I do it. So cute.

I like that sometimes I could title the post something that has nothing to do with what its about! Lol anyways walts band recorded a couple of really sweet originals. Ray is really good at coming up with new riffs. Kevin the bassist is coming along well and Bob is in the pokey for 3 more months so for now they have Davey. And Walt is doing very well as frontman. His vocal range has changed drastically in the past year!
Andrew is great also. This morning he almost climbed on the counter. He pulled his truck over to the cabinates and climbed that then pulled out the drawer and climbed that and was pulling himself up on the counter. I watched him the whole time and grabbed him before he made it but it was so cute to see him think and analyze the situation! He is such a smart baby! He repeats everything! Like I was watching the osbournes and ozzy tells jack to shut the fuck up and Andrew goes ut the uck up! Lol yeah not good funny but not good! He is so cute. He runs around the house singing and throwing things lol. He is such a little rocker he plucks and strums his guitar and then throws it lol! Too cute. And he loves giving hugs and kisses. And blowing raspberries! Funny funny!
Well life is going good. I can't complain.

rip Austin Blake.

So my friend from high school passed away March 3rd. He was an awesome hit very funny extremely nice to everyone he was around. Just a great guy. He was in a motorcycle accident and had swelling of his brain was treated and released and two days later died of mersa he contracted from the hospital. Poor guy. Anyways he was a great person and will be missed.

reflecting

So I've been reflecting a lot about life and trying to find the good that is surrounded by the bad. And I realized despite all the bad I have my husband who is always here for me and loves and takes care of me and my son who is amazing and my mom and sisters. I count my self lucky because some people don't have that!

concert wrap up!

So Walt and I went to the concert last night and it was freaking awesome! We were 7 rows back on stage right towards the center. There was an opening band but we missed it because I had to work and we were stick in 5 o'clock traffic but we saw seether they opened and were awesome. And we got a guitar pick from them! Every time I've seen them I got something lol! The first time we met them then I took Jeff and we got the set list and a pick and this time we got a pick! So sweet. Again is such an awesome vocalist! So good! Ahh and then breakin Benjamin came on and they were really good. They called again out and they sang a song together and.threw water bottles out to the crowd. Then lastly was 3 days grace. They were really good too! They had fire on there stage. It was sweet. But hot holy hell! Lol overall it was an amazing night! Walt and I got seethers 2008 your tshirt.I took tons of pictures.. And my sister watched Andrew cause she lives in Tampa and she said he was a perfect angel. Thankfully. Ok well gonna go!

Ok I know 3rd blog today but seriously Andrew is being an angel and I'm soo excited! Seether tonight! Along with three days grace and breakin benjamen or however you spell it! Good freakin show!!!!

no dada no!!

Andrew is soo cute when Walt left for work this morning he walked over to the door pounded on it saying no dada no! And I opened the door and let him give daddy a hug and kiss goodbye. It was so cute. You can tell that he is getting smarter and smarter every day. He is more aware of what's going on around him and he is more communicative and he can verbally express what he wants.

Its like 3am and I'm wide awake. I really want to be asleep! But here I am. Oh well. I thought looking at a bright screen would make me more tired but no.

Andrew is a walking!!

So this is a little late to post but I finally am able to access this web page from my phone. But anyways Andrew is walking and has been for a couple weeks and its soo cute. I love him more and more! Anyways other than that money sucks but hey if you didn't have something that sucked in your life you wouldn't always be appreciative of all the good things!

i feel bad for britney

I feel bad for Brittney Spears.. And I know that statement will shock whoever reads it. But Think about it this way. At a young age you have a talent your parents who love you to death but are only human think hmm maybe she can make money doing this, so that gets the ball rolling. And the child is passionate about it, so that helps. And before you know it, with the right breaks and connections, your a star from a young age. Your life is no longer just yours, and in Britney's case, its a life that millions of people want to know everything about. And because she got into it so young she may have made mistakes she might not have, but who are we to say that have never had that kind of pressure and obligation. Plus where ever you go you are followed by 50 or so men chasing you trying to talk to you or take a picture. Regardless, She had a lot happen to her and around her the past few years. I cannot imagine how had it would be to go thru a divorce. Much less publicly and read about it along with the rest of the world. Then read all the slanderous crap people say and if your ex is with someone else see those pictures, and then on top of that deal publicly with the custody battle over your two babies.. If it were me I'd be like no these are mine they came out of me.. If Walt and I ever got divorced god forbid, I wouldnt want to share Andrew. Plus think about this, most women go thru some kind of post pardom depression or however you spell that, and I really think all that stress and maybe a little post depression, no wonder she is reacting to things like this. I know, being a hot headed woman, that emotions can control you. I truly think that anyone who judges her seriously should step back because, you cant say how you would handle it if you've never walked in her shoes.
As far as her children, my son Andrew is a strong boy, I'd warn anyone holding him that he likes to throw himself back, And I've had it happen to me, where I'm multi tasking and he just would lean back and I'd have to catch him. Accidents happen.. That may have been what happened. As far as driving with a baby on your lap, yeah I understand that too. If you feel threatened who is the first person as a mom you want to protect? Your child..
So Britney, I feel bad for you and all I can say is find whatever gives you that inner peace and hang on to it as tightly as you can. Because at the end of the day you are human and a mother, and despite all else, that is your most important role in life. And in order to really thrive you have to have peace. Do whats right for you and your boys. :)

Ahh...

Today was a really good day, well so far. I've been up since 5 so I feel like the day is almost done. Andrew and I played in the living room when he first woke up for a couple hours, he had breakfast, cream of wheat, milk and Kix, then I gave him his bath, and dressed him nice and cozy. By that time walt was up and Andrew was down for his morning nap so I had about an hour to balance recipts, do bills, wash some dishes, and throw in a load of laundry. And I had a few mins to lay down and relax. Then once drew woke up we all went to sunsplash for late breakfast early lunch, and then off to the beach. It was a nice day kinda chilly, but nice. We walked the beach Andrew walked with us, we sat down and let him play in the sand which he tried to eat lol, then we came home and Andrew napped a little on the drive and now I'm at work. So overall it was a nice day. Its good to have those.

Begining of the year round up

So Andrew is going to be a year old in only a couple weeks. I cannot believe that almost an entire year has passed since he was born. Its crazy!!! He weighs 29.1 lbs, he's extremely active. And a major flirt. When he is at the dance studio he likes to crawl up to the girls and smile and wave.. then he crawls over to the mirror and stands up so he can see himself, and grabs the lower barre which is just within his reach. And much like his father he is obsessed with himself. Once he sees himself in the mirror he will spend like 5 to 10 mins just looking and laughing with himself. lol. soo cute. He isnt walking yet, but boys start later so i've been told, he's close. He can walk holding on to my hand by my side so i guess its just him realizing he can..... He likes to climb up all the furniture, torture ozzy, and turn the tv on and off. lol. I never wouldve thought i could love my child as much as I do him.
Walt is great also, work is slow but steady, we have enough to cover bills, but not much extra. Oh and he cut his hair realllllly short. he buzzed it. I like it, i think he looks great however his hair is. Sometimes i even miss his long curls.. But i really think having andrew and being with him, Im really happy. There were times where i was like is this what i want, but rich or poor, walt and drew are all i need. :)
